Product Announcements from the National Train Show...July 18-20/2008

Announcement #1 Soundtraxx Diesel Tsunami. We have been waiting for these for some time. Pre-order from us at 20% off - Code/item numbers 827101 thru 827105.
Key to this is the 16 bit sound. No matter what sound file you have, if it is 16 versus the competition's 8 bit, you are going to have better quality sound (twice as good?). Just received first shipment of EMD's.

Announcement #2 Soundtraxx also announced the SurroundTraxx system (840001). This is for those situations, like N scale (AND Z) where the engines may be too small for a reasonable sound system or where you want the full bass response that you can't get from the small speakers that are necessary with HO or N scale.

Announcement #3 Atlas will release a set of GP40-2's. See our search engine...use MFG="Atlas", Scale="H" and Description="GP40-2".

Announcement #4 Digitrax announces duplex radio. New products - UR92, DT402/S/D and PR3. New frequency makes reception better, full sound functions for the DT402. PR3 provides computer interface through USB port, sound file downloads and programming.
